Part 1.2 of Ambassadors by Junction 23. Peterborough unleashed Ollie to the world back in 2009, since then he has traveled the globe armed with his mad skills, style and humble attitude. He has also earned himself some nice achievements along the way, a 2nd place in the IWWF worlds, 3 time national champion, 3 time Wakestock pool gap winner – but these are just sprinkles on the cupcake. Ollie loves wakeskating and that becomes very clear the second he steps foot on his skate.

Junction 23 takes you on a journey with some of the UK/Worlds top wakeboarders and wakeskaters. The aim is to have as much fun as possible and bring you their vision of what wakeboarding is: whether it’s the search for a new place to ride with an empty line at a cable park or taking you behind the scenes of Europe’s and the world’s most formidable boat and cable contests… or simply searching for the perfect trick which will give us that pure satisfaction that we all know and love.

This is the first video from the first series of videos entitled Ambassadors. The videos will be posted every Wednesday up until the 13th of March. So the you’ll have something to come back to/look forward to each week. Respect to Toby Yeo for taking a whole new approach to UK wake cinemaphotography.

Danny Harf, Shane Bonifay, Daniel Watkins and Shawn Watson get towed in and surf waves down at Ballina Beach in Australia, about an hour’s drive south of the famous Byron Bay. Well worth putting ya pint down for!!

Hyperlite Hits Bethy Creek

Every spring the Hyperlite Wakeboard crew gets together to ride their new Wakeboards, take some photos and film for videos. It’s always a blast, by far the best perk about having a tight Wakeboard team with many unique personalities. Trever Maur, their rising star on the west coast, always takes his camera gear and this is the result of his efforts, featuring Rusty Malinoski, Shaun Murray, Jimmy LaRiche, JD Webb, Brian Grubb, Nick Davies, Jacob Valdez, Scott Stewart, Clayton Underwood, Raimi Merritt, Mike Schwenne and even Trever himself. Notice how excited JD is with his new board, he didn’t even bother to remove the QC sticker on the base at first. Rusty and Trever have a magical GoPro set, Raimi stomps a solid off axis 7, Mike and Trever both bend their knees, JD does two flips in one and Stewart almost pays the piper.

On the road looking for adventure and winch spots, Brian Grubb, Ben Horan and Yan Lecomte have been cruising about looking for winch spots around the Southern States. In this episode the winch team continue their journey through the upper Midwest, finding some amazing ledges, uphill water ramps, and gaps to wakeskate. The crew make their way from Chicago to Cincinnati to meet up with Andrew Pastura, finding time to hit up a local skatepark along the way.
